MeditationMeditation is a simple and effective method for increasing health and well-being, reducing stress and maintaining balance in your life. Like Reiki and Energy Work, meditation has been used for thousands of years throughout the world. The following list displays just some of the (research supported) ways meditation can improve your health, your overall wellness and your life!
Guided meditation can be particularly helpful for those who are new to meditation, would like to work on a specific focus (such as stress reduction, enhancing balance and creativity, chakra balancing or a specific health issue), or for those who have tried meditation and have encountered blocks to beginning or maintaining a meditation practice. We offer both beginning meditation instruction to establish and support your own meditation practice, and a variety of guided meditation experiences.
Guided Meditations Stress Reduction Aimee Jo will create a relaxing atmosphere and gently guide you through a progressive relaxation exercise, followed by guided imagery designed to reduce stress and anxiety and promote inner balance. Pain Management Meditation has been shown to facilitate management of chronic pain and ailments, and to assist in connecting and promoting your body’s own, natural healing process. By creating a space for focused breathing, relaxation and connecting to your body, together we can work towards decreasing pain and symptoms and restoring health, energy levels and overall well-being. Living in Balance This guided meditation focuses on creating and maintaining balance in your life. If you are feeling burnt out, pulled in different directions, or as though you don’t have time for yourself, this is a perfect way to rejuvenate your spirit and focus on creating equilibrium in all aspects of your life. This meditation focuses on creating and maintaining balance through grounding, centering and finding your stillpoint. Chakra Balancing Maintain balance; rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit; and improve your overall energy and well-being by balancing and energizing your chakras. To experience the most abundant benefits of chakra balancing, Aimee Jo recommends beginning with a 90-minute full Clearing and Balancing session. After completing this initial session, bi-monthly or quarterly sessions (45-minute sessions focused on re-balancing all seven Chakras) will help maintain inner balance, energy levels and well-being. Healing through Forgiveness Each of us has been hurt or wronged in our lives and we are all survivors of our past in some way. Some of us have been hurt by people with ill-intentions, while others may have been affected by people who did not mean to hurt us, or situations beyond our control. The emotions, hurtful memories and feelings of blame or helplessness that often follow being hurt affect our health, our well-being and our feelings of security, centeredness and groundedness. Our power to forgive and come to peace with our past allows us to move forward stronger and healthier. This guided meditation is designed to provide a relaxing, safe, nurturing environment for you to focus on your healing journey, your inner strength and the power you hold to forgive. Goal Specific Visualizing ourselves achieving the goals we set is a large part of making them a reality. Aimee Jo will work with you to understand your personal, creative, or professional goals and will guide you through a positive visualization and meditative exercise, creating a space for you to focus on accomplishing your goals.
All guided meditations are available in your home or office and are offered in 30- or 60-minute sessions for your convenience. Personalized guided meditations are also available for any area of mind, body or spirit you wish to focus on. For our very busy or distant clients, phone sessions are available.
